From "Baseball + Numbers = Fun & Games: Math & Ratings for Young Fans"

Julia Rose Chin thinks the recent Phillies teams are some of the best teams in baseball ever.  The 2011 Phillies may add to her argument, with a pitching staff that ranks up there among the all-time greats – and stars like Ryan Howard, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins on the field.  Julia may be biased, however, as she resides in the Philadelphia area with her parents. 

Julia is a nine-year old girl who enjoys arts and crafts – and drew the illustrations for this book.  She has also written and illustrated several children’s books, including “Power Baby’s Life Adventures” and “Nina Nasturtium Teaches Biology.”  Julia enjoys skiing, cooking, playing tennis, and playing the violin.

Julia attends the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) Precollege Program – and has been a member of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra’s String Ensemble (PRYSM).  Julia has performed at Carnegie Hall and a “Play It For Good” benefit concert for childhood leukemia.
